Organisation

Uniport is an independent container terminal operator in the city area of the Port of Rotterdam since the founding in 1971.

Uniport could steadily expand its activities over the last 40 years thanks to this independency.

Important decisions can always be made within short times in Rotterdam.

Shareholders

The first shareholders were Kühne + Nagel International A.G., Schindelleggi/Switzerland from 1971 till 2000.

Matrans B.V. Rotterdam was shareholder from 2000 till 2004.

C. Steinweg Handelsveem, Rotterdam are the actual shareholders since 2004. This worldwide logistic organisation was founded in 1847 already. C. Steinweg Handelsveem is approved by the London Metal Exchange (LME) as a provider for the handling and warehousing of approved brands of base metals. C. Steinweg Handelsveem has over 64 offices worldwide and in Rotterdam 13 terminals with a total area of approx. 2.500.000 m2
